After passing the Galapata Vihara and going along Raumpara for another two kilometers, you will find the Bemthota Gane Rajamaha Vihara, the other of the five Maha Viharas. Built on a hillock, this temple is located in a mind-blowing environment. The ancient value of this temple, which has a long history, is immense. Although it was destroyed due to enemy invasions in the distant past, it was restored later. The ancient Bodhisattva here can still be seen as it is and the people of the area regularly make offerings to the Bodhisattva.
