The renovated Bentota Pradeshiya Sabha Head Office was opened to the public on 23.12.2025 for the convenience of the people and staff and to provide efficient public services. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Honorable Chairman of the Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. Premakumara Wijewardena, and the Honorable Member of Parliament Gayantha Karunathilaka, Honorable Member of Parliament Nishantha Perera, Honorable Member of Parliament Chanaka Madugoda, the Southern Provincial Local Government Commissioner, the Galle District Assistant Commissioner, the Secretary of the Bentota Divisional Secretariat, former Honorable Chairmen of the Bentota Pradeshiya Sabha, former Honorable Members of Parliament and many distinguished guests as well as government officials.
