One and a half kilometers past the Vanavasa Vihara, you can enter the Bodhimalwa Rajamaha Vihara. Among the five Benthota Rajamaha Viharas, Bodhimalwa Rajamaha Vihara is the only Rajamaha Vihara located on a flat land. Like other temples, this temple also has a long history and it is believed by the explorers that almost all the valuable works of art in the temple have been destroyed due to enemy attacks in the past. The archaeological value of the statue of Samadhi sitting here is immense.
